Polarimeters are conveniently used for the determination of the optical rotation of all optically active substances in measuring sucrose, fructose, various drugs and chemicals, food additives, spices, perfumes etc. recommended specially for Medical, Pharmaceutical, Daily Development, Chemical Laboratory examinations.

The circular scale graduated in degree is attached near to the analyzer and a vernier moveable on the scale enable reading of optical rotation to the 60 seconds.
